Rankeisou Hotel - Sanjo

We had an absolutely amazing experience at this luxurious 4-star hotel. The location of this place is truly breathtaking, nestled into a wooded area alongside a rushing river. The natural beauty surrounding the hotel enhanced our stay and made us feel refreshed and rejuvenated. The service provided by the staff was top-notch, with housekeeping ensuring that our room was always clean and well-maintained. The amenities in the room were also fantastic, with heating and air conditioning to keep us comfortable in any weather, as well as a terrace where we could enjoy the stunning panoramic view.

We had an amazing stay in a beautiful location, with direct access to a pristine river. The hotel facilities were clean and modern, with ample parking available for our convenience. The staff members were cute and provided great service. The breakfast was delicious, with fresh local ingredients.

We stayed in a beautiful hotel in a lush area with direct access to a river. the room was spacious and beautifully decorated with traditional Japanese design. the public bath was a great experience and the outdoor onsen provided a stunning view, especially when it snowed. the staff were always attentive and professional.

The breakfast was not up to par with the other amenities provided at the hotel.

Idyllic location with access to mountains, valley farmland, and beaches. Genuine Japanese Inn with friendly host. Perfect stay with onsen and multiple course dinner. Beautiful lush area with nice salty waters. Spacious rooms and exquisite meals from local ingredients. Private baths available to book. Invited to post a letter to be delivered 12 years from now. Paradise for kids with clear river nearby.

The hotel was surrounded by a beautiful river and snow-covered trees, which made for a picturesque view. The staff was incredibly hospitable and attentive. They provided fresh, local food that was absolutely delicious. The room itself was spacious, comfortable and well-equipped.

It was hard adjusting to the Japanese-style bedding and pillows as they were different than what I was used to. The check-in and check-out times were also unusual, with the check-in being quite late and the check-out being early.
